We don't usually finish our boxes here. We like to let our customers finish their boxes any way they choose ( if they choose). But as a woodworker for years, sometimes you just get that urge to make a box SHINE yourself. So every once in a while I take one or our boxes and make it SHINE. So this box was the box I chose today. I finished it with several coats of clear satin lacquer finish to let the natural beauty of the cherry wood do its thing.

**** Just the Facts ****

• This box is crafted from 3/8 inch cherry hardwood. It has a recessed top and bottom made from 1/4 inch cherry plywood.
• The corners are mitered and the top & bottom edges are rounded over to give it a beautiful finished appearance.
• It has an interlocking hinged lid with antique brass 90 degree stop hinges to support the lid.
• And lastly, it has a small antique brass decorative latch to keep it closed tightly.
• Outside dimensions....... 12 x 10 x 3
• Inside dimensions.......... 11 1/4 x 9 1/4 x 2 1/4
