Handcrafted Just for You in Tennessee > Me and my two sons build every one of these boxes by hand. When you order from this page, you aren't just buying a box off a shelf—you're picking the materials, and we're heading out to the shop to put it together for you. We use all natural hardwoods for the walls and high-quality plywood for the top and bottom to make sure your box stays sturdy and square for years to come.

Your Choice of All Natural Woods:

Our Promise to You

Me and my two sons build every one of these boxes by hand right here in our shop in Tennessee. We use real oak, maple, or cherry to give you a beautiful, all-natural look that lasts. Around here, we still believe a person’s word is their bond, and we want you to be just as proud to own this box as we were to build it for you.

  • Free USA Shipping: We’re happy to take care of the shipping costs for you. Every single order ships for free anywhere in the United States.
  • Our Hand-Built Guarantee: If your box arrives and it isn’t exactly what you were looking for, don’t you worry. Just let us know and we’ll roll up our sleeves to make it right.
How do I care for my new box?

How to Care for Your Box

Me and my sons put a lot of heart into building these from all-natural oak, maple, and cherry hardwoods. Because it’s real wood, a little bit of love goes a long way in keeping it beautiful for years to come.

  • Dusting: A quick wipe with a soft, dry cloth is all it takes to keep your box looking clean.
  • Keep it Dry: It’s best to keep your box away from water. If you do happen to spill something on it, just wipe it off right away with a dry towel.
  • Sunlight & Heat: Like anything grown in nature, these woods like a steady environment. Try to keep your box away from real hot radiators or sitting in direct, harsh sunlight for too long.
  • The Natural Look: Since we leave the wood all natural, it will actually get even handsomer as it ages. That’s the best part about using real Tennessee hardwoods!

A Few Other Things You Might Be Wondering About

Can you do a custom finish or stain for me?

That’s a great question! I’d love to be able to do that for you, but our little shop is a bit of a 'dust factory' when the saws are humming. Since we don't have a separate, sealed-off finishing room, I’d have to shut down every machine and wait for the air to completely clear just to brush on a coat of stain. To make sure I can keep building and getting orders out to everyone on time, I keep things simple and send our boxes out in their beautiful natural wood. I hope you understand!

Do I need to finish my box after I receive it?

You sure don't. In fact, most folks who buy our boxes leave them just the way they are! If you look back at how the old-time furniture makers did things, they didn't have all these modern sprays and finishes we have today, and their work has lasted for generations.

We use high-quality wood that’s built to stand the test of time all on its own. While you’re welcome to add your own touch if you would like to, there’s no need to —your box is ready to go the second it gets home.

If I want to add a finish myself, what do you recommend?

If you’re itching to add a little extra shine or color, we always say keep it simple! Since we’ve already done the heavy lifting with the sanding, a nice natural furniture wax or a simple wipe-on oil (like linseed or tung oil) works wonders.

You don't need any fancy spray booths or expensive tools—just a soft lint-free cloth and a little elbow grease. It really brings out the grain and gives it that smooth-as-silk feel. But remember, the wood is plenty beautiful on its own, so only add a finish if you're looking for a fun little afternoon project!

Will the wood stay looking this beautiful?

It absolutely will! One of the best things about using real, all natural hardwood is that it actually gains a bit of 'soul' over time. Instead of wearing out like plastic, the wood will naturally deepen and develop a richer, warmer tone as the years go by. It’s a very subtle process that just makes the grain look even better—much like a cherished piece of heirloom furniture that's been in the family for ages. It’s built to grow old with you,

A Note from Our Shop to Your Home

Every piece that leaves our workshop is more than just a product to us—it’s a part of our family’s story. Born and built right here in Tennessee, each box is handcrafted with unwavering care by me and my two sons.

We take a lot of pride in choosing richly-grained hardwoods like Oak, Maple, and Cherry that are built to stand the test of time. We ship our work in its natural, unfinished state to let the wood's true character shine through, that only gets better with age.

Whether you’re storing a cherished collection or looking for that perfect addition to your home, we want you to feel the heart and soul we put into every joint and sanded edge. From our workbench to your front door, thank you for letting us be a part of your home.
